Today, we decided to explain what DAO is, why it\u2019s important for the community, and how it will look on Alpha Guilty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"2306\"><strong>The meaning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"c195\">A decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) is a member-owned community without centralized leadership but with specific program rules encoded on a blockchain. The key idea is that DAO runs entirely autonomously, although users have voting power in some procedures. This allows DAO members to transact safely while maintaining data integrity and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"b4c9\"><strong>Value for users<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"9b3c\">Unlike conditional transactional programs, which are often maintained by firms with profit motives, DAOs are fully owned by their users. They should hold special tokens or NFTs that allow them to govern. Governance is conducted through a series of proposals that members vote on through the blockchain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"8477\">There are various DAO governance models: ConstitutionDAO, Ethereum Name Service (ENS) DAO, and Friends With Benefits DAO, just to name some. Each one is unique and responds to the needs of a specific community. The same can be said for the future Alpha Guilty\u2019s DAO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"ef3d\"><strong>DAO on Alpha Guilty<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"6652\">Alpha Guilty (previously CPAD) has been a user-governed platform from the start. We now see the need to enhance the community\u2019s role in all important processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"c29b\">According to Alpha Guilty\u2019s roadmap, the new DAO governance system will be developed and implemented in 2023 after building up the required infrastructure and rules. For example, DeFi projects offer the possibility of P2P lending, where a person from anywhere in the world can take out a loan or deposit existing assets.<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item -->\n\n<!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li>The efficiency of these projects is that they eliminate brokers from their routine work. The work of the banker or insurer in the decentralized system is done by a smart contract, which resolves possible disputes.<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/ul>\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>So the guarantor of reliability is the blockchain on which this or that project is built (as we mentioned above, it is mostly ETH blockchain).
